Real usage always reveals things testing didn't: confusing flows, unexpected behavior, and the most valuable feature requests. The period right after launch is when you learn the most, so plan to act on it rather than moving straight to the next project.
Budget and responsibility for this phase should be decided before launch, not after. Who handles updates, monitoring, and improvements? An unmaintained site slowly decays in security and performance, so treating post-launch as part of the plan is what protects the initial investment.
