Many businesses think they need an app when a good website plus a few tools would do. Conversely, some try to run on spreadsheets and email long after a simple internal app would save hours daily. The right answer comes from the actual workflow, not from what sounds impressive.
A useful sequence is website first for presence and leads, then a web app when a specific, repeated process clearly justifies the investment. Building an app before you've validated the need is a common and expensive mistake.
