No-code shines for common needs: brochure sites, simple stores, booking pages, internal tools. It gets you live fast, cheaply, and independently. Reaching for custom code when a proven tool would do is a frequent way to overspend and over-complicate.
The limits appear when you need a distinctive design, a specific feature the platform can't do, deep integrations, or performance and scale beyond the tool. A sensible path is no-code first, then invest in custom builds only for the parts that genuinely differentiate you.
