Where is my website hosted, and why Firebase?

On Firebase, in a project owned by you. It is a deliberate choice rather than a default: we build the same way every time so the security model, the deployment path and the rollback path are known rather than improvised per project.

Practically that means a global CDN, HTTPS by default, atomic deploys and a rollback that takes seconds. The database and file rules are written and tested rather than assumed, which is the part that usually goes wrong.

The trade is honest. Specialising in one platform means we are better and faster on it, and it means we are not the right studio if you need something that platform cannot do. We would tell you that rather than force it.
