What is included in a ground-up website rebuild?

Structure, design, build, a content system you own, and the search and performance work done as part of the build rather than sold back to you later.

In practice that means deciding what the site has to do before anything is designed, laying out the pages around that, designing and building them, and wiring up a content system so your team can change copy, prices and pages without a developer.

Search visibility, performance and accessibility are part of the build. They are structural, and retrofitting them into a finished site costs more than doing them once at the start.
